Typingspeedcalc.online processes every keystroke, word per minute calculation, and typing score strictly within your web browser's local memory (RAM). We do not record, transmit, or store what you type on our servers.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Unlike platforms that aggregate typing text or track biometric typing dynamics for surveillance purposes, our engine is designed from the ground up to respect user privacy:

No Text Logging:

Characters, punctuation, and backspaces typed during testing are processed via JavaScript variables and discarded immediately when the test resets or the tab closes.

No Personal Identifiers:

You do not need to create an account, register an email address, or provide personal credentials to access our full suite of typing tests and arcade drills.

No Keystroke Biometrics:

We do not construct hardware-specific acoustic or typing-fingerprint profiles.

2. Information We Store Locally in Your Browser

To provide a seamless user experience, we utilize standard client-side browser storage (HTML5 LocalStorage and SessionStorage):

Audio Preferences:

Storing whether mechanical key switch sounds are enabled or muted.

Arcade High Scores:

Storing your highest local score in the Keyboard Jump arcade game so you can track personal progress across browser sessions.

Theme & View Preferences:

Preserving layout and contrast preferences.

This data remains on your physical device. You can clear this information at any time by clearing your browser's site cookies and local storage.

3. Server Logs and Hosting Infrastructure

Our static files are delivered via Cloudflare Pages edge network. Cloudflare edge servers may record standard technical connection metadata, including:

Internet Protocol (IP) address
Browser user-agent string and operating system architecture
Referral headers and timestamp of resource request

This telemetry is utilized strictly for routing optimization, Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) mitigation, and caching efficiency.

4. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Compliance

Under the CCPA, California residents possess the right to know what personal data is collected and request its deletion. Because Typingspeedcalc.online does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal consumer information, no opt-out request ("Do Not Sell My Personal Information") is necessary.
